Mecha Drawing Contest

A mecha design contest courtesy of PEx
Animanga Club in cooperation with MechaPinoy.com.
TO ENTER:
Create an original mecha (robot) drawing. Enclose your entry
in a long brown envelope together with your name, address, age,
and telephone number. Submit to any of the drop-off centers
listed below. ONLINE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. A registration
fee of Php25.00/entry shall be required. You can start submitting
your entries on September 7, 2002. Deadline is on October 11,
2002.
JUDGING CRITERIA:
Originality 60%
Visual Impact/Artistic Appeal 20%
Workmanship 20%
Total 100%
The Judges' decision will be final.
PRIZES:
The Grand Prize winner gets to choose between a 1/144 HGUC EX-S
GUNDAM model kit by BANDAI or an EVA-01 Test Type Matsumura
Version action figure by KAIYODO. Prizes for the 2nd and 3rd
places will be announced soon.

comes with stand (a mutilated Angel) in fact the EVA-01

2nd Bandaged head, 2 more hands, knife, & extra armor.
Window boxed packaged, makes it easy to take out and display

ELIGIBILITY AND CONDITIONS:
1. All entries must be original.
Paper size: A4 bond paper;
Medium: Any.
Computer-aided entries are accepted.
Include a brief background about your entry on a separate sheet
of A4 bond paper.
2. Members of the Pex Animanga Club and Mecha Pinoy are prohibited
from joining the contest.
3. Validity of the contest will be based on a minimum of 10
entries.
4. Winners will be announced during the Pex Animanga MECHA MADNESS
event. The presence of winners or a representative during the
awarding is required. Representatives are to bring proper identification
and authorization letter.
5. All actual entries become property of the PexAnimanga Club.
However, the creators still retain the copyright for their mecha
designs.
6. The PexAnimanga Club reserves the right to make changes regarding
the contest details. Even so, these changes shall be announced.
7. Each participant agrees to be bound by the rules mentioned.

| The Pinoy
Exchange (PEx) Animanga Club was formed last May 16,
2001 as a proposal to get the planned Hayao Miyazaki filmfest
off the ground. It was and still is a social club wherein
like-minded people of the Pex online community could discuss
and promote the art of Japanese animation and comics.
