Animanga Club MECHA MADNESS on sept 14
ONE YEAR OLD na kami!
Hi all! PEX Animanga Club is very, very excited to celebrate
its first year here in Pinoy Exchange and we would like to extend
our heartfelt gratitude for always being there to support our
monthly filmfests. This time we're now inviting you all to take
part in our ninth offering and anniversary presentation: MECHA
MADNESS! to be held on the 14th of September, 2002! This film
showing is still FREE of charge.
SCHEDULE OF SHOWING AS FOLLOWS:
11:00 - 12:15 Shin Getta Robot OAV (1-3)
12:15 - 12:30 break
12:30 - 1:30 Patlabor OAV (1 & 7)
1:30 - 1:45 break
1:45 - 3:45 Macross Plus Movie
3:45 - 4:00 break
4:00 - 7:00 GUNDAM: 08th MS Team (1-7)
7:00 - 7:15 closing / raffle
• There will be featured guest artists and writers who
will give a brief talk and Q&A's about their works during
the breaks in between films. We're very proud to have the creators
and artists of Ground Zero Comics, Wilson Tortosa, the only
Filipino artist included in Alex Ross' version of Battle of
the Planets (aka G-Force and Gatchaman), Lyndon Gregorio creator,
artist and writer of Beerkada, launching his new comic collection,
TRES KADA.
We'll also be featuring a live acoustic performance from one
of the artists included in the upcoming soundtrack of Culture
Crash Comics.
• All film schedules will be followed and will start at
the given time. Given the limited space that the Brash Young
Cinema (BYC) could only accommodate, up to only about 40 people
will be accomodated per showing.
• And also, please help Brash Young Cinema in buying a
projector for their place. If you can spare/donate P30.00, it'll
be a big help for them, so we could eventually watch our favorite
Anime and other Movies on a bigger screen!
