Anime Quest 2002 Organized by: Telesuccess Date: May 22 - 28, 2002 Venue: Glorieta 1, Ayala, Makati City Being hounded with bad publicity and even a smear campaign from some local anime groups, Telesuccess has come out standing and has made a better event than their previous one. Just after 6 months since its last big anime event, Telesuccess has launched Anime Quest 2002 at Glorieta 1, Makati City last May 22, 2002. I was there on May 26. There is no such thing as a perfect anime convention but this one was really better than the one last november. Indeed there was quite a shortage of cosplayers (if you call almost a hundred cosplayers short) but i think most of them had a great time. The only hassle that ive encountered is that video and still cameras were not allowed inside the movie house where the cosplay event was being held. Its the policy of Ayala and it really stinks. Anyway, i was able to get pictures of the cosplayers on the lobby and i just ended up using 1 roll of film out of the 4 that ive bought. Congratulations to the organizers, cosplayers, participants, fans, and volunteers that have supported this event. Here are a couple of pics that were taken during the event.
